Dublin School Board: Tanner Frye and Dan Cherrier Lead Two Trustee Areas

DUBLIN, Alameda County — November 4, 2026. Dublin Unified School District voters have two distinct governing-board contests, including a short-term vacancy.

What the official election-night report shows

In Area 3 (short term), Tanner Frye leads Shalini Bhandari with 965 votes (54.09%) to 819 (45.91%). In Area 5, Dan Cherrier leads Seema Badar, 1,307 (63.76%) to 743 (36.24%).

What residents should know

The Area 3 contest is for a short term rather than a standard term. These trustee races do not decide the separate Dublin mayoral or City Council elections. The county’s November 4 election-night report is unofficial, even though each area shows all precincts partially reporting.
